EARLY ACCESS · INVITATION ONLY

Automated Drupal patching. You stay in control.

Copilot and Autopilot let an AI agent prepare, test and ship Drupal security and maintenance updates across your fleet, from one site to five hundred. Patching is in testing now. Anyone is welcome to apply for a place.

Two kinds of updates

Security updates

When an advisory matches your site.

When a Drupal security advisory affects a site, the agent starts straight away or waits for the weekly Drupal security release window. You can set quiet hours. Highly critical advisories can skip the wait.

Maintenance updates

Everything else, on your schedule.

Regular updates to Drupal core, modules and other Composer packages that are not security fixes. Choose weekly, fortnightly, monthly, every two months or quarterly, and whether to take patch releases only or patch and minor releases.

How each update works

  1. Sentinel

    A fix is released

Sentinel sees which of your sites need it.

  2. Sentinel

    An update is prepared

Packages are updated. An AI agent follows the release notes in your code and configuration.

  3. Your CI/CD

    Your tests run

Your pipeline checks the pull request on your own Git host.

  4. You

    You approve

Review and deploy. Autopilot, rolling out separately, can do it under the consent you set.

  5. Connector

    The site confirms it

The connector reports the new version, so done means done.

Choose who merges: Copilot or Autopilot

Copilot

Automated up to the pull request.

Updates run on your schedules without anyone starting them. The agent stops at the pull request: your team reviews it, merges it and deploys.

Autopilot

Merges and deploys when tests pass.

Rolling out separately, on the same plan: you choose Copilot or Autopilot for each website once Autopilot is available to you. Everything in Copilot, plus the agent merges the pull request and deploys it once your tests pass, under the consent you give each site. Only for sites whose automated tests pass the gate. Pause any site at any time.

The Sentinel Patching overview for a fictional agency: 12 of 15 sites enrolled, 5 on Autopilot and the rest on Copilot, one security update running tests, and four finished security and maintenance updates with their pull requests.

DATA REGIONS Coming soon

One site or five hundred, wherever your data lives.

Patching runs each update in its own isolated workspace, so one site and five hundred sites get the same treatment. Today your data is processed in our Australian data centre.

Soon you will be able to choose the country where your data is processed, for teams with data residency or government rules. Tell us your needs in your application.

How applying works

  1. Send us an email

Use the template on this page. You do not need a Sentinel Connector account to apply.

  2. We review your fleet

We look at your hosting, Git host and tests, and check that we can support them in this stage of testing.

  3. We send instructions

If we can take you on, we invite you and send set-up instructions. If not yet, we tell you and keep your place for a later round.

What to include in your email

Email getintouch@sentinelconnector.io with the subject “Patching early access application”. The button below opens your email app with the template filled in. Answer what you can and leave the rest blank.

  • Fleet size. How many Drupal sites you look after, and how many you would try first, so we can plan places in the test group.
  • Hosting platform. The agent deploys through your hosting platform or your own pipeline. We test with each platform before we invite its users.
  • Git host. Updates arrive as pull requests on your own Git host. Whether it is GitHub or GitLab, in the cloud or self-hosted, decides how we connect.
  • Automated tests. We recommend automated tests in your CI/CD on every pull request. Tell us what you run today, so we can check it together.
  • How you patch today. Your current process and how long a fix takes to reach production show us where the agent can save the most time.
  • Rules you work under. Government, compliance or data residency rules change what we can offer. Tell us early.

Please do not send passwords, tokens, keys or access to your repositories. If you are invited, we ask for what we need through the dashboard, where it is stored encrypted.
